Air Core are very happy to announce that construction has begun on two sites. Foundations have been laid at our sites at Paisley Road, Carrickfergus and Drumbanagher Wall Road, Poyntzpass. The Paisley Road turbine will be a WTN 250kW with 40m hub height and 29m blade diameter while the Drumbanagher Wall Road turbine will be a WTN 250kW with 30m hub height and 29m blade diameter. The two sites are due to be commissioned in January 2015.

Air Core are very pleased to announce that our 3rd wind turbine has just been commissioned! The 250kW Wind Technik Nord turbine with 40m hub height and 30m blade diameter was commissioned on the Redrock Road, Collone, Co. Armagh on the 16th October.
Air Core are pleased to announce that construction work has begun at our Redrock Road site in Collone, County Armagh. Construction work on the foundations began on the 26th May and the turbine is due to be erected in July. The turbine, a WTN 250kW, is scheduled to be commissioned in August and will be Air Core’s third operational turbine after our successful Drin Road and Curragh Road sites.
With March 2017 fast approaching, we are all conscious that the Government incentives for wind turbines up to 250kW are due to be reduced or cut.
